For families & loved ones

You can ask for help
before you have answers.

When someone you care about is struggling, knowing what to do can be difficult. A conversation can help clarify treatment options and how you may be involved.

The first conversation

Can you contact us for someone else?

You can contact admissions to explain your concerns and ask about the program. You do not need to arrive with a diagnosis or a complete plan.

The team can explain the information needed for clinical review, the admissions process, and the role of a shared residential setting. The treatment recommendation follows the person’s needs and suitability.

Your role

How can you be involved?

01

Share relevant context

Family members may hold useful information about changes, previous care, relationships, and daily life.

02

Respect authorization

The client’s authorization and clinical responsibilities guide what information can be shared and with whom.

03

Agree on your involvement

Clinically appropriate family work and communication are planned with clear roles and boundaries.

Beyond the residence

Prepare for
life together.

Where appropriate and authorized, continuing-care planning can include family relationships, home routines, communication, and the practical responsibilities of support.

The purpose is to clarify the next stage of care and the role of each person, with the client’s needs and autonomy at the center.

Questions

Frequently asked questions.

Can I speak to admissions before my loved one is ready?

Yes. You can ask about the program and explain your concerns. Admissions can discuss the process and information needed. Assessment and admission involve the person seeking treatment and the required consent.

Will I receive updates about treatment?

The client’s authorization and clinical responsibilities determine what can be shared. Agree on contacts, communication and your role with the team; family involvement does not give automatic access to private clinical information.

A confidential first conversation

You do not have to
work it out alone.

Ask about treatment for yourself or someone you care about. Admissions can explain the two-client and four-client settings, the fees and the information needed for clinical review.
