How much does COGNIFUL cost?

Choose between two residential settings: CHF 55,000 per week for a maximum of two clients, or CHF 35,000 per week for a maximum of four clients. A stay usually lasts 4–12 weeks, with duration reviewed individually.

Your written proposal confirms the chosen setting and its capacity limit for the whole stay, recommended duration, total program fee, payment terms and any additional costs.

Core inclusions cover clinical assessment, primarily individual psychotherapy, a private bedroom, chef-prepared meals and residential coordination. Physical activities and excursions can be shared. Included activities, specialist sessions and any medical or psychiatric input are confirmed in the agreed plan.

External medical care, medication, special travel or security arrangements and extensions may involve additional costs. Continuing-care planning is part of treatment; the scope and cost of any follow-up services are agreed individually. Ask for all inclusions and additional costs to be itemized.

The process

How does admission work?

Talk with admissions

Ask questions, explain the situation and discuss your preferred two-client or four-client setting.

Clinical review

Review current stability, medical needs, history, readiness, and the suitability of the shared setting.

Individual proposal

Confirm your treatment plan, expected duration, private bedroom, chosen client limit, weekly and total fees, included services and any additional costs.

Prepare for arrival

Agree on dates, consent, payment, travel arrangements, and what to expect in the residence.

Suitability

Is COGNIFUL the right level of care?

COGNIFUL supports people with mental health, addiction, trauma or co-occurring needs whose care can be provided in this residential setting. Psychotherapy is primarily individual, while accommodation and selected activities are shared.

The review considers current symptoms, risk, medication, substance use and possible withdrawal, medical needs, and previous care. If medical detoxification, acute psychiatric care, or another level of support is needed first, that determines the appropriate care pathway.

Admission depends on clinical suitability and availability in the setting you select. The confirmed maximum of two or four clients applies throughout your stay.

Insurance and payment

Can insurance contribute?

Programs are generally self-pay, and we do not work directly with insurers. You pay first. We can provide relevant documentation for a reimbursement request, but cannot guarantee whether your insurer will pay or how much it will reimburse.

Review payment dates, cancellation terms and any additional charges in your proposal before you confirm admission.

Before the first conversation

What information do you need?

You can start by describing what has become difficult, who the inquiry is for and your main questions. You do not need to have a diagnosis or know which treatment is appropriate.

For the clinical review, admissions will explain which records, medication details and information about current treatment or substance use are needed, and how to share them securely. Admission depends on clinical approval and availability.

How many clients stay at COGNIFUL?

COGNIFUL offers a choice of two residential settings: a maximum of two clients or a maximum of four clients. The selected limit applies to the whole setting at any given time throughout your stay. Both options include a private bedroom and an individual treatment plan. Compare the settings.

What does treatment cost?

The weekly program fee is CHF 55,000 for the setting with a maximum of two clients, or CHF 35,000 for the setting with a maximum of four clients. A stay usually lasts 4–12 weeks, with duration reviewed individually. Your written proposal confirms inclusions, total fees and additional costs. See fees and inclusions.

Will I have my own room?

COGNIFUL’s residential model provides a private bedroom within a shared residence in Mallorca. The exact residence, room, and practical arrangements are confirmed in your proposal before arrival.

How is treatment personalized in a shared setting?

Psychotherapy is primarily individual, with sessions shaped around your needs, goals and progress. Shared experience centers on the accommodation, meals, physical activities and excursions. Your clinical assessment, consultations and treatment plan remain personal.

What if I need detoxification or a different level of care?

Withdrawal risk, acute medical needs, and acute psychiatric symptoms are reviewed before admission. Where a different level of care is required, appropriate medical care or stabilization comes first. The team considers whether and when the shared residential program is suitable.

How do you decide whether the residential setting is right for me?

Clinical review considers your current needs, stability, medical requirements and the support the residence can provide. It also considers whether sharing accommodation and selected activities with other clients is suitable for you.

How long does treatment usually last?

The residential format is usually 4–12 weeks. Duration is reviewed individually according to your needs, progress, the clinical recommendation, and the agreed plan.

Can my family be involved?

Where clinically appropriate and with your authorization, family work and communication can be included. Roles, boundaries, and the information to be shared are agreed with the team.

Do you work directly with insurance companies?

Programs are generally self-pay, and we do not work directly with insurers. You pay first. We can provide relevant documentation for you to request reimbursement afterward, but we cannot guarantee whether your insurer will pay or how much it will reimburse.

What happens after the residential stay?

Reintegration and continuing-care planning consider home, relationships, work, routines, and local clinical care. Follow-up and any authorized coordination with existing clinicians are agreed individually.
